Dunkin' - Smithtown

We always go to this place for ice cream, but recently, I've noticed that whenever I arrive before 9 PM, the lights are still on, but there's no one available to assist. Last night, I went through the drive-thru at 8:36 PM and ended up waiting for quite a while. Eventually, I decided to go to the window and saw two staff members cleaning up, but they weren't attending to the drive-thru. Frustrated, I ended up just driving away. Their website states that they're open until 9 PM, so they should either close the drive-thru or put up a cone to indicate they're closed. This review pertains to the location at 731 Nesconset Highway, not the one at 560 Smithtown Bypass. I apologize for any confusion.

When I raised my concerns with the staff, the woman I spoke to lied, claiming her phone was charging in the back, even though I had just seen her using it moments before taking my order. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told there was no one available. I will say that the other two staff members I interacted with regarding this situation were nice and professional. I understand that mistakes happen, but lying about something that a customer has directly witnessed is unacceptable. If you are serving food, please make sure to clean your hands first. I won’t be returning to this establishment, especially since the Dunkin’ Donuts across the street has much better sanitary standards.

You really need to pay attention to the state of the restrooms. Regardless of the level of service and overall cleanliness of the restaurant, if the bathrooms are filthy, it raises concerns about whether the staff adhere to proper hygiene practices.

This special dunkin suffers from a very frequent question with this franchise. consistency. they can love a certain food or drink article from a dunkin a moment and depending on who and which business makes the same element, they can detest it. that said this dunkin takes it a step further with her goal not please. at first there was no soap in the bathroom. not even a soap dispenser. we then looked at ourselves as a worker who prepared food, went to the bathroom, came out of the bathroom and went past the alternative rinse for the workers. essentially he did not wash his hands. Secondly, I ordered a vanilla bean coolata, which tastes like milk. I got this drink very often and I know how to taste and that was terrible. it took 3 dishes to make the drink even close to what it should be, and that did not come without rude co-workers making fun of the situation. this place is a hell of a hole and if they let it be satisfied, then the unwashed hands of a food preparationer do not hope it later.

VERY NICE STAFF. Avocado toast with bacon was soooo good. Best I've tried compared to other Dunkin Donuts.
