The wall decor was very depressing and the music was inappropriate for an Italian restaurant. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, and the food was very good. Being an Italian myself, I can easily say that all they needed to do was dim the lights, have some Italian music playing, put a little olive oil and salt and pepper on the table and possibly offer freshly ground pepper or cheese when the food comes. I don’t know who’s running the show, but it ain’t a real Italian. We won’t be back.
Had a giftcard to try for the first time. Staff is very friendly. Had Clams Oreganato for an appetizer. They give you 6 good size clams. They were very good. Their bread looks like garlic knots but its bread made fresh upon request. Very tasty. I had Chicken franchise with spaghetti my husband had Chicken parm with spaghetti. I got 2 decent size pieces of chicken. It was over lemoned. My husband's chicken was 1 huge piece but bland tasting. I read reviews before going and they were all positive. I don't know maybe an off night for the cook.
I really liked this place a few years back. Something seems different.
Our family has been long time patrons of the restaurant, even attending events there for family and friends. This was our first visit since the new owners have taken over. I hoped it would have remained the same, or possibly improved, and sadly, neither of those things happened. We ordered a pizza, with half plain and the other half with sausage and mushrooms. We requested the pizza be crispy. The pizza was not crispy, was cold, and overall disappointing. Especially since we live less rhan t miles away, we would think it would have at least been warm. The igher food was, so its likely a timing error with the restaurant. The sauce was very sweet and somehow, the dough was actually a little sweet too. Altogether, unpleasant. We also ordered mild wings. They were 6 to an order and I was shocked to see the price of almost $18. Still, based on our number of people and request, we ordered two orders. They were ok, not bad. But, they come without sauce on them, it's on the side. Which we found odd. We did coat and mix them, but they would have been better had they sat that way, it would have soaked in more, but they were good.We also ordered the Italian wedding soup. It was tasteless, which was upsetting.Because we had been long time patrons, we will likely give it another shot, and dine in, and see. But if this is any indication, I don't have high hopes.
Everything was delicious. Excellent customer service. Michael was friendly and the best Mixologist. Order the passion fruit punch its a win. It was our first time here and it won't be our last.
