Wendy's - Smyrna

Just left Wendy's at 12:45. I arrived at 12:42. When I received no answer I drove around to the window. I asked the young lady could she take my order but she said they were closed. I asked aren't they open until 1am? She didn't respond and simply closed the window. Another car pulled in behind me I'm sure expecting them to honor their posted hours. I drove to McDonald's and spent $21 for myself and family. The line was crowed no doubt thanks to Wendy's staff deciding to close early. I wonder how the owner feels if they knew all the sales lost in those 20 minutes. Who knows what time the called it quits actually..

I recently visited the Wendy's in Smyrna and had a mixed experience. The food was good overall, but the service was inconsistent and the fries were unevenly cooked. I ordered a Dave's Double cheeseburger and a small order of fries. The burger was cooked to perfection and was juicy and flavorful. My fries were cold, but my wife's fries were so hot that she could not touch them. Overall, I had a mixed experience at Wendy's in Delaware. The Smyrna location is the best, but the inconsistent service and unevenly cooked fries were a letdown. The food was good, aside from the cold fries. If you are looking for a quick and affordable meal, Wendy's is a good option, but be prepared for a mixed bag.

This Wendy's has come a long way.... They're really good now, and they were alright when I first moved here back in the early 2000s, then they went sort of downhill for a bit and food tasted awful and looked sloppy. After the remodel a while ago, I feel like it put some good vibes in there because it's been great ever since! I've seen one of the manager ladies asking an employee to prepare more meat for the chili because it wasn't meaty enough and I was surprised! I mean most managers usually cut costs by having less meat. I appreciate that because I usually get the chili half the time! Staff is friendly and it's always pretty clean inside. Definitely one of our families favorite places to grab a quick bite. Can't beat those prices! I think the only thing I would change about this place is how the parking lot is so small that it's one way. Oh, and if you can't fit in the drive thru line when you turn in, just go around the darn building will you? If someone gets in front of you, it won't kill you, I promise! Leave sooner if you're in a rush! Being late is no one's fault but your own.. okay I'm going off now and uh, ma'am.... this is a Wendy's.

I have been involved in customer service for several years. I pull up to an empty drive thru, and the woman yells out, What can I get you? No professionalism, and I didn 't feel like a valued customer. I had an incident a few weeks ago at this establishment and decided to give them another try. I am totally disappointed, and to think this used to be my favorite Wendy 's.

This place is hit or miss depending on the amount of employees they have working that day. Sometimes your order comes out quick and accurate. Other times it’s dead wrong and takes forever. Definitely worth a shot because when it’s good it’s good but when it’s not it’s definitely not
