The mussels and salmon are delicious, especially when paired with their homemade bread. It's a cozy spot where you can relax and enjoy a meal that tastes like it was cooked with love. Great job!
The staff were welcoming, and the atmosphere in the dining room was warm and inviting. I had high hopes for the fish and chips, but was disappointed. It was more like chips with a small piece of fish. However, the batter was delicious despite the chips being a bit soggy.
We were lucky to find a room at this restaurant at the last minute, which we really appreciated. The twin room with en suite was comfortable. We also enjoyed a delicious chowder for lunch, making this restaurant a great spot in the village.
We stopped in for an afternoon snack and were so glad we did. The seafood chowder was one of the best we’ve ever had and the vegetable soup hit the spot as well on a day that was chilly and rainy. The soda bread was the very best we had during all of our travels through Ireland! We are back home now, trying different recipes in hopes of recreating these wonderful dishes.
Great Fish Chips….. best we have had during our trip across Ireland. We were the first people in the restaurant…. but by the time we left, the restaurant was full a lot of locals which is a good sign! . Enjoy!
