I discovered Grain when on a trip to Snohomish. As someone who is recently gluten free finding a bakery was amazing enough. However Grain elevates the experience and makes gluten free treats that taste even better than typical ones. It is worth making the trip from Kirkland just to stock up on their goodies. We like it so much that we chose to have them cater the desserts for our wedding celebration in April :
Grain's new croissants are truly as amazing as they look. We went on the celiac cruise to France last year, and these rival the best that we found in Paris. Heaven!
Omg the scones! And the cardamom cookie sandwich with that delicious frosting. And the salted caramel cookie. As Belinda Carlisle said “heaven is a place on earth” and it just happens to be GF as well.
The dinner rolls I picked up for Thanksgiving were sooooooooo good. Fluffy and soft and just a touch sweet and were delicious even 5 days later. I also adore many of their three tier cakes: German Chocolate, Apple Chai Butter and anything with Earl Grey. My non GF guy loves them too. Highly recommend checking them out.
