Yelling, screaming, playing hide and seek, climbing on the anchor, pulling the leaves of plants. It kinda killed the ideal of relaxing drinks with friends. It’s becoming a chronic issue but tonight was worse than previous visits.
Tasty beers good sandwiches. Try the pulled pork Sammie!
Great beer and wonderful food! Tucked in the corner of a business park just off Highway 9 is Sound to Summit Brewing. They offer expansive indoor seating and heated outdoor seating under a covered patio. Sound to Summit Brewing isn’t your typical brewery with only a few simple items on their menu of food and a mixture of their labeled beer and other breweries beer. The food was varied and had delicious signature dishes like their Summit Fries, hamburgers and salads. We shared their Asian Crispy Chicken Salad which had crispy sweet crusted chicken that perfectly complemented the salad. They have a selection of beer that expands almost everyone’s tastes, from lagers, kolsh, IPA’s to Scotch ales and stouts. We really enjoyed the Peanut butter Stout and the Naughty Nick, their seasonal. We sat at the bar as it was quit busy, but had the opportunity to meet Doug and a number of the mug club members who were all incredibly friendly. We will definitely be going back!
Seems to be very hit and miss, we enjoy going to S2S because it’s close to us, food is hit and miss, but the owner is very appreciative of your business. We went two weeks ago for burgers, we are so glad they stopped with the string fries. Our burgers looked like a McDonald’s burger that had been sitting under a heat lamp for and hour, one very small tomato slice, one piece of wilted lettuce and it wasn’t served with the pickle spear as typical (love me a good spear), my wife ordered one beer and I had water so we were very shocked at the $62 total including tip for two burgers and one beer
We've been coming here for years, even though the worst of covid once they reopened. Not sure what's happened, but we came in today and sat outside. Not super busy, but a good number of people inside. We sat outside and our server basically forgot about us. She finally came by to take our beer and food order, didn't get the added bacon to my sandwich, the beer wasn't the right one, and once we were done eating (with no check in during our meal, even once we had both finished our beer) we sat for 15min waiting. Finally gave up and went inside to pay. I know we would have ordered at least 3 more beers and relaxed in the sun. Instead I left annoyed and wondering if I'll remember this service the next time I consider coming back. I get it, the service industry is decimated right now, but jeeze, our server had maybe 3 tables. Not a lot to keep track of.
