Harvest Moon Tavern - Snow Hill

Came to Snow Hill to run some errands and had an empty stomach so I wanted to see what this place had in regards to some lunch. My stomach is no longer empty and I still have half a sandwich to take home! The Dagwood is amazing...like holy **** that's a lot of sandwich amazing. My wife had the roast beef and cheddar sandwich and she said it was excellent. We also had the appetizer with the fried cheese, spinach, and crab (the name of it escapes me) and that was surprisingly good as well. Service was outstanding. Food presentation was outstanding. The decor is interesting. A very good experience for a reasonable price.

Stopped here along our drive home from OBX not many options in the area and found it thanks to yelp. Small down spot with average bar food. Restaurant was empty but nicely decorated with funny signs on the walls. Very friendly waitress staff!

Very cute spot in a sleepy town close to the Delaware shore line, this tavern has really good food! There's an extensive salad menu plus many dressings (eg Asian sesame ginger). The food is presented well, not fancy, and the waitress staff are quite friendly! Would come back again!

What a hidden gem! We were in the area looking for a place to eat. There are two little restaurants in this town and we are all SO glad we chose Harvest Moon Tavern! Walked in on a Saturday afternoon with a group of 11 people and we were quickly seated. Service was fast and friendly. Some of the people I was with said the water tasted funny, but I didn't notice. Our waitress was amazing! She had brown hair and glasses, I wish I caught her name so I could rave about her more. I got the hot roast beef cheddar sandwich with fries and both were delicious. ORDER THE FRIES! The sandwich was stacked with meat. The horseradish sauce that came with it was so good on the sandwich with the fries that if I ever come back and order another sandwich, I will ask for the horseradish sauce for my fries. Everyone I was with seemed to enjoy their food. People ordered the meatloaf sandwich, crispy buffalo chicken salad, the turkey sandwich that had stuffing cran mayo. We all split the nachos to start and I would definitely recommend that as an appetizer.

Horrible service. The food was on the same level as Applebees. If you like generic run-of-the-mill mediocre food this is the place for you. Don't forget about the below par service. I think they had one waitress for the entire place. Yet another place in Snowhill I will never go back to.
