Contribuisci feedbackMy husband is Deaf, and we visited this Starbucks yesterday to get some coffee. We entered with our masks on and waited in line. When my husband and I communicate in Sign Language, we have to lower our masks. A barista shouted at us over the crowded line, telling us to wear our masks. I explained that my husband is Deaf. When we reached the front to place our order, I reiterated that we need to pull our masks down to communicate. This led to an argument, with three baristas shouting and debating about the mask policy. A few customers also joined in, and the attendant pointed at us, instructing us to leave and said “kick out.” She never lowered her mask to talk to us, so we were confused. We filed a complaint against this Starbucks with the ADA and also informed HR at Snowshoe.
I absolutely adore having a Starbucks on the mountain!
I absolutely love visiting the Starbucks at Snowshoe! My daughter and I drive 30 minutes just to enjoy the fantastic drinks. The staff is always friendly and polite, and they are incredibly knowledgeable. They often recommend the best beverages! Be sure to ask about the Chocolate Mousse Iced Coffee—you won't be disappointed!
