We were seated quickly, and our server was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food was delicious, and everyone left feeling satisfied! Out of the three different restaurants we visited over the weekend, this one was definitely the best.
Everyone should strive to be as kind and helpful as our waiter, Felipe. We arrived at Sunset in the late afternoon after a day of snowshoeing, only to find that the place was packed and there were no available tables. Fortunately, they managed to squeeze us in. The chips and salsa were excellent. I highly recommend the Tingus or carnitas tacos, as the veggie option (with beets and chickpeas) and the steak taco were quite bland and underwhelming. We were still hungry after our meal, so we ordered chips and guacamole. Felipe went out of his way to help us, but unfortunately, it seemed like nothing was coming from the kitchen. After some persistence, he finally secured us some chips and queso. His kindness and helpfulness truly made our experience special.
I was surprised by the negative reviews. We had a really enjoyable meal here. The street tacos were good, but the burrito stood out—it was especially delicious. The house-made chips and sauce were also great. Our server was managing the entire dining room on her own, but she was friendly and attentive despite being busy.
Prices for portion size are better than the other places at the resort. Food was delicious. Service was prompt and friendly.
Felipe was one of the best servers on the mountain. Food was great, good price and super fast. No wait. 10 out of 10.
