It is something of the worst food that I have given money for. And I'm not one to think about. It looks like more than a hotel

The first one encounter is kindness at the reception. I could not feel very welcome. The hotel has a small pool where you can take a swim and relax. The hotel is clean and nice but of the older date, which is clearly visible in the rooms.

I visited Scandic in Sønderborg recently and here is my review of the stay. The hotel enjoys a central location and is easy to reach. On arrival I noticed that the rooms were a bit worn. Although they were clean and tidy, they could have used a refreshment. Our room had a lovely spa, which was a pleasure, and it added a luxurious feeling for the stay. Unfortunately, the hotel's restaurant/bar was not so spacious, especially when you consider how many rooms were at the hotel. This led to a tighter and a bit of bondage, especially in the evenings. It could have been more comfortable with more space for guests. The breakfast buffet was satisfying, with a variety of dishes. However, they had placed the coffee machines in a corner, which was a bit difficult. There was only a machine and it meant that only one person could operate the coffee machine at a time. It would have been more appropriate if the coffee machines were placed next to each other, so two guests could use them simultaneously. This would have improved the breakfast experience significantly. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, which was a positive experience. They did their best to meet our needs and responded quickly to any requests. Overall, the stay at Scandic in Sønderborg was acceptable, but there are some areas where improvements would be welcome. With updated rooms and better space conditions in the restaurant/bar as well as a more convenient location of the coffee machines, this hotel could provide an even better experience for guests. I would consider returning if these improvements were made.
