It felt like you were stepping on to a set of a cool movie, gently themed but not overpowering, an authentic feel. A focus on young meats and great veggie options. A wonderful place to load up before a long trek or reward yourself after. And the service was great too.
Wish I had read the reviews before going here as we had a similar experience to many apparently. Waitress recommended the ‘fresh’ fish (no mention of price), when it came it was over cooked, full of bones and certainly not fresh. When the bill came they had charged me the equivalent of £30 for that one dish. I was then told that they didn’t take cash and I needed to walk 20mins to a cash point. Also worth mentioning that they let people smoke inside. When we arrived the place was empty but as it filled up the cigarette smoke was quite unbearable. Avoid this place and go the vastly superior restaurant nearby (The School) which was much better food and service, and won’t rip you off.
My friends and I received a really unpleasant service and they were suggested a fish which turned out to be 70 euro per piece. This price was way out of proportion and not at all communicated properly on the menu. The server shouted at my friends when they pointed out some mistakes on the menu. The server was offensive to my friends. It really wasn’t nice so definitely suggest dining somewhere else after the hike
SCAM ALERT: AVOID THIS PLACE FROM FAR AWAY!!!! The waitress offers the most expensive dishes, brings big amount of food without noticing that before the dishes aren’t possible to eat by one person. The waitress put also the things on the bill that we didn’t order. When we wanted to clarify it, she was shouting at us. We paid ca 70 EUR for one portion of fish. Really bad experience :
Watch out the price. Quite food, although small plates, quite touristic actually. The lamb was half skin and outer fat, half meat. At the end I paid more than what it was written in the menu.
