The dim sum cart ladies were super pushy. Once we saw the items and one of us said no thanks or we had this already , they would ask if we really ordered already or say that the food is fresh (I would hope so). The beef Chow Fun had no wok hak, the bean sprouts and beef were way undercooked. My family and I haven 't been here in awhile, so don 't know if mgmt changed. Service and food used to be so much better.
Have been here a number of times and Canton Palace has excellent dim sum for being outside of NYC. The service is quick and the food is so tasty (excellent shrimp Shu Mai! . Our meal for two with 4 dishes and a huge plate of Chinese broccoli was ~40 dollars without tip. Highly recommend coming here and checking out the dim sum on the weekends. We can always find (non-metered parking on the street out front as this is a on the edge of downtown Somerville.
One of the better and more traditional Chinese food restaurants in the area. Their dim sum is great and offer a large variety of traditional dim sum offerings. The seating is quite plentiful but they cater to more larger parties.Would recommend.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible as the main doors require a small incline which is difficult to get up unassisted.
Service a bit haphazard. I liked my chicken casserole dish, but my spouse thought it was too bony. Standard American-Chinese dishes were just OK.
