Chicali Mexican Grill - Somerville

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The service was excellent as well. We loved that every table gets salsa and chips. I ordered the vegetarian queen, while he opted for the chicken flocks. Overall, we had a wonderful time!

Excellent Mexican cuisine with fresh ingredients and served large portions. Just go for the Corn Esquites as an appetizer. Enough for 2 people to share the corn was so perfectly cooked and juicy it literally pops sweet and spicy flavor with every bite. Steak Burrito was also excellent. A great addition to Somerville!

This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant. It's authentic and everything was excellent. We ordered the fresh guacamole and beef nachos for apps and an array of burritos, tacos, enchiladas and seafood diablo for dinner. Nothing disappointed and everyone remarked how much they love their meals. Somerville really needed an authentic Mexican restaurant and Chicali is it. We'll be back for sure.

I’ve found my new favorite Mexican restaurant in the area! Everything was fantastic. I ordered tacos while my wife chose enchiladas, and both meals were served with rice and fried beans, which I absolutely loved. The portion sizes were generous and everything was delicious. We tried a mix of fillings: one steak, one chicken, and one pork taco. The salsa was outstanding, and the chips were complimentary. They even packed some chips for us to take home! We also ordered guacamole, which was equally excellent. For dessert, we had baked ice cream. The service was top-notch; our waiter was attentive and friendly. Best of all, the prices were very reasonable. Just a heads-up: they don’t have an alcohol license, so be sure to bring your own drinks!

The charming downtown atmosphere offers genuine Mexican cuisine. It's a BYOB establishment. We enjoyed the enchiladas combo with refried beans and rice, which was served extra spicy upon request, as well as a taco salad and tortilla soup.
