I have never had a burger that was so juicy, highly flavored, and literally melted in my mouth! The onion rings were also exceptional as they were very large and battered but had a very good ratio of onion to batter. The outdoor patio was simple and quaint and the waitress service enthusiastic and delightful! The lamb stew was also delicious with tender lamb, carrots, onions and potatoes. I cannot stress enough how worthwhile it is to go to this simple, no frills restaurant for their excellent Vera Earl beef! And Vera Earl is right next door so should you fall in love with the incredible meat like I did, you can go next door and buy some incredible beef that is humanely raised on excellent quality feed to take home!Dietary restrictions: I have a low carb way of eating and do not eat wheat or gluten. They were more than happy to create my burger on a plate for me. They were happy to accommodate any dietary restriction I may have had.
Used to be good. Now service is slow and prices are ridiculous. Two wings for $6 cmon. PS I ordered a plate of wings and our waitress advised us it would be different than usual (some explanation about the transition to wine pairings) so yes I legit recieved two single wings on a plate for six dollars. You think im joking, but indeed, I received two wings on a plate and nothing more.
My best friend and I went here with just the idea of getting a quick lunch and heading out for a hike. Our plans changed quickly as we got extremely excited over the chef’s pairings menu they had. This was our first time wine tasting and it definitely got us in our wine era! The food was absolutely amazing, the wines were delicious and we even came home with a bottle each! They did mention they will be doing a different menu for every season! I cannot wait to go back over and over again!
Fresh food made by some great locals. You can eat a burger that was locally raised, and it's delicious! Fries and onion rings as well. It's a great menu, but Im just a burger guy. Will be back!
I must admit, I was expecting The Cafe to be quite mediocre. Everything else was closed after we finished some wine tastings in the area, so we ended up here, and we were not disappointed. The $5 happy hour menu was great. Everyone's burgers were excellent, the quesadilla was terrific, and both the sweet potato and zucchini fries were very well done. In a very remote place, but if you're in the area, this is a good stop to make.
