Jeannie's House Diner - South Bend

I absolutely adore Jeanie's from the delicious food to the confident, no-nonsense women who run the place. It is the most genuine, heartfelt diner in town. I especially enjoy their homemade jalapeño sausage and corned beef hash. The prices are also very affordable, with breakfast specials starting at just $6.50 for half order of biscuits and gravy, two eggs, and coffee. They also offer daily specials like today's chicken-fried steak tater tot skillet with eggs, peppers, onions, cheese, and gravy for $13. This is the perfect breakfast spot. Enjoy!

I wasn't sure what to expect, but the food at this restaurant exceeded all my expectations. The pancakes, hamburger, and jalapeno sausage and mushroom skillet were all delicious. Even though it's a bit of a drive for us, it's definitely worth it and we will definitely be returning.

The restaurant has a cozy and enjoyable atmosphere. The food is tasty and the portions are generous. The pancakes were fluffy and piping hot, and the gravy was delicious. It feels like a true home-cooked meal. The staff is friendly and fun, I will definitely be returning!

Great food and wonderful people. A little small and crowded, but that's okay. Very warm and friendly.

If you’re looking for a good diner, it doesn’t get better than this. Delicious food, great hospitality, and fair prices. I’ve been to diners literally all across this country and this one is darn near perfect. P.S. Don’t say no to their homemade jam.
