Having eaten from tandoori delight a few times I can safely say it's my favourite most delicious Indian restaurant out of all I've tried in Adelaide! each dish so unique and fullof flavour I couldn't fault anything (except I wish there was more of it.. butter chicken, sweet and creamy. Chicken madras, smooth and spicy. Chicken tikka, unexpected unknown explosion of delight. Naan, massive and onion bhaji, crunchy and didn't leave a fatty oil after taste. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes! Thank you Mr Tandoori Delight :
The new management at this restaurant is extremely welcoming, the food is incredibly tasty and delicious, showcasing fantastic Bangladeshi cuisine.
All the dishes we had were great tasting . The butter chicken was a little sweet . None of the dishes are spicy so very kid friendly. Like most reviewers state there is not a lot of meat in the dishes but for 10 bucks a main its understandable . We just ordered more rice to mix with the yummy sauces. Will definitely be returning .
I can't believe I've lived in this area for over 10 years and never tried Tandoori Delight before. Tonight, we had butter chicken, garlic naan, rice, and lamb korma. I have to agree with other reviews, the butter chicken was quite sweet. Even the kids thought it was too sweet but still enjoyed it. The garlic naan was delicious and the rice was good as well. I had never tried lamb korma before but was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I asked for medium spice levels as the menu described it as "mild", and the flavor was fantastic, not too spicy but just right. I also agree with others about the amount of meat in the curry, it was decent but not generous. Overall, I would recommend this cozy little curry takeout spot to any fan of Indian cuisine. Four stars.
I was delighted to discover the wide variety in their menu, which sets them apart from most other Indian restaurants in Adelaide. My taste buds were impressed by the fresh ingredients cooked with care. I appreciated the option for halal meat curries, allowing me to try something different from the usual palak paneer. The standout dish for me was the Adrakhi chapen, bursting with flavor. The service was also excellent, with a clear emphasis on customer satisfaction - I was referred to as a guest rather than just a customer. Overall, I loved the experience and this will now be my preferred dining spot.
