The food trucks were fantastic and offered a wide variety of dishes. We especially enjoyed visiting the Polish food truck. It's a must-visit spot if you're in the area, and it's easily accessible by bus from Brisbane.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Border Street Markets. It felt like the little sibling of Eat Street Markets. While we love Eat Street, we found Border Street to be more authentic. It has a cozy atmosphere and doesn't feel as commercialized as Eat Street. We loved the vibe at Border Street Markets.
The restaurant is relatively small compared to others in the food market, but it is very cozy. It is usually open on weekends and has a good variety of suppliers offering Asian, German sausage, Greek, Brazilian, South American, Middle Eastern, and even herbed dishes. There is a bar with live music and fans of the band Bon Jovi can be found around the main dining area. I will definitely stop by for a quick meal when I am in the area. If they don't have what I'm looking for, I'm sure I will find something similar nearby since they are already in the west.
Although it was rained during the visit, I would rate these food markets better than the more famous eat street markets in hamilton. there is no entry fee (there is in the eat street;) these markets are smaller, but there is still a lot of choice....A large selection of international food in informal environment.
I was quite disappointed with what actually was there considering how they advertise 'real farmers market ' on their website and there were only 2 stalls. There is a bric a break section in s hall also with a few caravan kitchens.
