Captain Morgan - South Hams

On a rainy Saturday morning, our crew from Lyme Bay Boats visited Salcombe with The Wolf Rock Boat Company. Despite the poor weather, we enjoyed tea, coffee, and bacon sandwiches on their delicious granary bread. When asked if I wanted white milk, I jokingly requested pink milk, which caused confusion for the servers in their pink uniforms. The staff at Captain Morgan’s managed to brighten our day with their humor and smiles. Captain Morgan’s is a must-visit spot with friendly service and great atmosphere. I will definitely be returning, even if it means getting a parking ticket. Much love to the lovely ladies at Captain Morgan’s from Jamie at Lyme Bay Boats.

The breakfast was delicious and the tomatoes were really lovely! It was right on the harbour and had a nice view of the sea!

Might want to remind the lanky man-boy who lingers behind the counter that when he rudely remarks on customers we can all hear him quite clearly. We ordered take away sandwiches (nice sausage but **** bread).. we sat down to wait for our order when the irritating skinny dude loudly says to other staff...they've ordered take away and now they're sitting down inside like we were making some big mistake.... we're we supposed to order our food and then walk away without it???? There were no other customers (unsurprisingly) so I'm not sure what he was grumbling about...I called to him we're waiting for our food but he ignored me. Food was mediocre place was a mess inside. Needless to say I won't be returning

I have to say, we went to this restaurant for breakfast and ordered a variety of items. I was very impressed with the quality of the food - everything was delicious. The poached eggs were particularly tasty, and the Captain Breakfast was out of this world.

Captain Morgan's is an excellent establishment with impeccable service from beginning to end! I would highly recommend it to everyone. The food was amazing and the best tea I've ever had in Salcombe.
