Flour Girl Wedding Cakes

This place is fantastic! I ordered a custom birthday cake, and it turned out to be incredibly sweet. The owner was very kind and really elevated my theme. I asked for a beekeeper cake, and not only did she come up with a brilliant idea, but it exceeded all my expectations. It was also super delicious! I highly recommend getting a cake from her for any occasion!

Sarah made us golf themed cupcakes for the rehearsal dinner and a three tiered cake for the wedding that was so good we barely got any! Beware if you are taking pictures when the cake is served you may miss out. However, we know that cake was so good, we ordered it again for our anniversary and loved every bite!

Sarah and her team did a dessert table for us and it turned out great!! We had three cakes one wedding, two birthday cakes, brownies, lemon bars, crème brûlée, three types of cookies, French macaroons, several different cupcakes, and a keto dessert of fresh strawberries. The team did a great job of taking our input and creating exactly what I envisioned... it was awesome!! The table was a huge hit with all our guests, young and slightly older...! Guests could not wait to sink their teeth into desserts, all we had left were several cookies, and wedding cake to pack up!

Flour Girl is amazing!! My husband and I got married in South Lake Tahoe 7/24/2021. We decided to do a small cake for cutting, cupcakes and push pops. We had so much fun tasting and the hardest time choosing flavors because they were all SO GOOD! We ended up mixing and matching and doing multiple different fillings and cake. Everyone said they were delicious! Thank you again Sarah and Flour Girl bakers! We truly enjoyed your desserts!

The Flour Girl team was lovely and set up an amazing tasting for us and totally understood when we got caught in traffic coming from the Bay Area and ran a bit late. They were super ready to work with and I think they have a great time. We had a small elopement during Covid and it was the best day. I just ended up being a little sad about the cake. It just wasn't what I expected, and someone went to pick it up for us so by the time I saw it I couldn't say anything about it. We asked for a single tier cake with white flowers and some greens. I showed them a couple pictures, think white roses, anemones, peonies. The cake ended up having some daisies and baby's breath and just didn't look like the elegant cake I had hoped for. And while it's not a big deal it was just a bit disappointing. While I still recommend the Flour Girl team I would just say to make extra clear everyone is in the same page of what the cake you want looks like.
