Lake Tahoe Aleworx - South Lake Tahoe

I had my first visit to Tahoe and stumbled upon Aleworx. They offer an excellent variety of ales, stouts, porters, and IPAs available for self-tap, allowing you to sample and enjoy at your leisure. The pizzas were full of flavor, and the crust was fantastic—though it had just a bit more sag than I prefer, it was still delicious. I really enjoyed watching the pizzaiola stretch the dough and craft the pizzas. I would definitely return!

The staff was friendly and helpful, especially since it was our first time using the beer card. The food was delicious, with tasty potato skins and generous portions of hummus served with fruit and veggies. We'll definitely be returning! Food rating: 5/5.

What an impressive beer selection! I really appreciate their card payment system, which allowed me to sample a variety of smaller glasses without ever encountering warm beer. And the pizza? Delicious! It's got that wonderful wood-fired flavor. The restaurant is situated in the corner of the old outlet center, and I love the renovations they've made there! AleWorX features a full bar on one side of the patio, along with fantastic outdoor seating that occasionally hosts live music. There's also an outdoor grilling area with picnic tables nestled among the trees, perfect for playing cornhole.

Best pizza with bubbly chewy crispy crust and the perfect ratio of sauce to cheese. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. An awesome selection of beers. The outdoor beer garden with fire pits and live music playing on stage made the afternoon one to treasure!

We came in for lunch after hiking all morning. Their beers, some wines and some ciders were self-serve, sold by the ounce. My husband got an IPA and I ordered a glass of wine. He ordered a pizza and I got a goat cheese salad. Being gluten and dairy free, I didn't have much hope that I could order pizza, and the menu didn't mention that those were an option. I found out after receiving my salad that they do have gluten and dairy free options, so while I really loved the salad, I would have ordered pizza if I had known. Either way though, we had a nice time and really good food. They also have live music often, although we were told that lately the musicians have been cancelling because of the wet weather in order to protect their equipment.
