Toulouse - South Lake Tahoe

We made a reservation for 11 friends to gather and celebrate birthday, while in town for a music festival. This place is a hidden gem, off the beaten and touristy path of Stateline. The food was delicious, with great service, and the owner was the bartender. They even put music on that we all love. Everything had an extra touch and we ended up coming back for breakfast the next day, which still was a 5/5. I’d come here again and again!

Prime decision in South Lake Tahoe. Great southern Cajun with an extra touch of French elegance. Warm and inviting. Will return. Portions were substantial.

Tried out a new spot for us and found Toulouse, it was a busy Friday night but the waiter kept a friendly smile all the time. Food was different and I enjoyed what the chef put together.

Toulouse restaurant offer quality food at a reasonable price in this area. Dining selection in South Lake Tahoe is mainly limited to greasy unhealthy options or super overpriced (50 60 for a main dish).With a full bar, friendly staff (we even got a chance to meet the owners), and homey receives from New Orleans, Toulouse offers a great dining experience. I appreciate that we could make a reservation as late as 8:45 pm online, most places close at 9pm. The portions are just about the right size. I loved loved loved the Gumbo and I will be back to this place once more before leaving back home.
