Portions were much smaller than expected based on the price, fish was a bit tasteless, and staff were not very friendly. Awful. Placed order online. Order was ready at time requested. Not sure how long the chips had been sat in the boxes but they where soggy and under cooked. Straight in the bin. Will not be going here again.

Just had the best fish and chips ever. And only paid £5.80 for beautiful cod in crispy batter, hot non greasy chips and wonderful mushy peas. Very friendly staff Every thing is fresh and made to order so you may have to wait a few minutes but it is well worth it. Will definitely come again before leaving Ulverston.

I recently moved to Ulverston and was looking for some new takeouts to try. I visited Priory Plaice with the kids and ordered cod and chips, chicken nuggets and chips and a childrens fish bite meal. Great portion sizes and food was red hot and cooked fresh to order! Staff were also very friendly and polite. Will definitely be returning more often!

Called in for a last minute tea and we weren’t disappointed. We got small fish& chips and jumbo sausage and chips. Very good portion sizes. Cooked fresh and order was ready within a couple of minutes. Would definitely recommend and return.
