Chawlas2 - South Ozone Park

This is my second time ordering from them via DoorDash, and the service has been excellent. I got the butter chicken, garlic naan, and mango lassi, and everything was fantastic. The butter chicken is delicious and incredibly creamy! The garlic naan is fresh and pairs perfectly with the butter chicken. The mango lassi is a refreshing treat, boasting a delightful flavor from the blend of yogurt and mango. I love Indian food, and this meal truly made me happy!

The food was not prepared properly. They served us tartar sauce with the malai tikka, which was unexpected. The mint chutney lacked flavor and salt, and the cream chicken tasted more like black pepper chicken. Overall, it was a disappointing experience at Chawla2, which has been around since 1960.

I ordered two Goat Karradi and spent $30 ($15 each), but the dishes were mostly bones with only two small pieces of meat. I expected to eat meat, not chew on bones. I would not recommend this place to my family or friends; I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with my experience.
