Village Pub - South Range

Currently undergoing ambitious renovations, I had a chance to talk with the new owners and it seems like the restaurant is going to be a fantastic addition to the town. It appears that it will be more of a community hub rather than just an average bar. Keep an eye out for updates!

This is an interesting little bar. There is no food and the liquor selection is limited, but the young girl bartending was very nice and helpful. There isnt much food in the area and we were on snowmobiles so the bartender told us we could order from the Dominoes in Houghton and they would deliver here to the bar. We rented a house in Painsdale not knowing the town wouldn't have a gas station, bar or restaurant so we we're thankful that this bar was close by. The next night we found the VFW down the road and we would go back to that next time.

Great people.... the only place I will ever go for a beer.

The restaurant is very good, but it could use better food options and a larger selection of beer.
