Against The Grain - South Saint Paul

I went for Burger Monday and got a burger, fries, and a beer for just $10. The burgers were handmade and cooked to order, while the fries were hot and delicious. The service was friendly and prompt, making my Monday a bit brighter. I've visited a few times now, and the atmosphere is always quiet and pleasant. The food is consistently great, and we really enjoy the Monday night burger special.

The waitress was friendly, but the meal was microwaved and turned out to be the worst I've ever had. The food was incredibly dry. Surprisingly, the frozen vegetables were the highlight of the meal!

Terrible Terrible Terrible Waited over 2 hours!!! For food!! Drinks took over an hour!!! Worst service! I can not recommend this place to anyone! Beers were very warm. There was only 1 table being served while we were here. It was truly sad to wait aslong as we did. The wings are frozen in a bag, then tossed with a little sauce. Don?t let the picture deceive you. The pizzahad literally no flavor. Imagine eating 1/4 to 1/2 inch of cheese on your pizza. The cheese was so thick I had to peel itoff. I went to McDonald?s after and had a great meal....????

If you enjoy waiting 50 minutes before receiving a menu, another 20 minutes to recieve your drinks, you might enjoy this restaurant. Worst service ever. There were only two other people in the restaraunt. Horrible experience.

This place has great potential, but I was disappointed by the limited menu options. It would be nice for a drink and a snack, but that's about it.
