Stockyards Tavern Chop House

What a wonderful place! The staff is amazing from the moment you walk in. The dining experience is unique, and the quality of the food is incredibly fresh and excellent. I highly recommend it!

The smokehouse burger was cooked to medium as requested and definitely delivered on flavor. The combination of smoked bacon and Gouda cheese is delicious on this burger. The fries were crispy and nicely seasoned, just as I hoped.

She had high hopes for this restaurant based on its positive reviews. To start her visit, she sat at the bar where the bartender was excellent and recommended a few local beers, which were both quite enjoyable. However, she found the cheese curds she ordered as an appetizer and the walleye to be overly greasy, with a bitter taste from the oil. While she was disappointed this time, she might consider returning for a second visit to see if it was just an off night.

Decided to have a late birthday party dinner recently in the chop house, we had a party of four. really nice restaurant/bar and decor that was both clean and welcoming. directly from the bat from the decal at the door was noticed that an air exchange system was installed to clean the air of the germ, which is a good thing! great location for us in the middle of the dining room with view of the modern fireplace. I ordered the sirloin steak, the medium well requested. when my steak arrived, it was less rare, but I didn't want to make a fuss. next time I will be sure not to say a red or pink or order it better. the size of the part was good, but the quality of the steak was not so great. other diners had the redisserie 1/2 huhn dinner and reported it to be very good. another diner had the same larger sirloin that I did and was thus in order, but also under done and less often in stains. the service was in relaxed tempo good and we enjoyed our interactions with the staff. the prizes seem right to us, because everything goes up. another diner had the French dip sandwich and was satisfied with it. I am concerned to return to the restaurant to try some other menu items. they have a very large menu with many choices. the rib eye was at $45.00 and that seemed expensive for me to choose, but I could have been happier with him! this is a very nice place for a special evening meal and the outside terrace looks great for this summer too. I'm looking forward to a visit.

What a gem! This place has it all! Great happy hour, patio, great ambiance, bottomless mimosas (weekends) and bomb food. I was super impressed by their breakfast! Awesome pancakes and super unique hash-browns. Their onion rings are massive but so good. You won't regret checking this spot out.
