Shinnecock Lobster Factory

I am updating my previous review, which WAS a 5 star review from last summer. This place WAS fantastic. It seems they have decided to sacrifice quality for quantity. We went 3 weeks ago and got two lobster rolls and the lobster Mac, it was $100. The Mac and cheese was as good as always. The lobster rolls were soggy and the chips were burnt and tasted like they were fried in very dirty fryer oil. For the price, everything really should be spot on. Now this isn’t really so bad. I contacted them via IG and received a nice message in response. They told me that’s not right and wanted to “make it right” I was told the restaurant would be in touch via email. After a solid week, I had not heard a peep from them. Again I message them and again I am told they will be in touch to make this right. It has been an entire week AGAIN since hearing that. So I’ve decided to write this review. It’s a damn shame they seem to have no issue making nice looking food for their social media posts, but that’s not the experience I had, and I doubt I am the only one. It’s a shame I have to now bad mouth them in a google review, and I am sure I will hear from them now, maybe? I get it, the summers NUTS, and mistakes happen. Hopefully they make this write and improve further in the future. At the time of writing this, I am leaving 2 stars. If I don’t hear from them, it will become 1 stars. I really don’t do this lightly, the business is not easy out here.

The foods is amazing! But costumer service sucks, the guy who take my order was very rude and he make fun of my voice . That make feel very uncomfortable ?.

The lobster roll place. This time classic was a little bit different with before. But Hampton roll is my favorite :

News 12 did a spotlight a while back on this establishment and we were on mission to find the best lobster roll. Well say no more we ordered two wale size rolls it was prepared fresh delicious and huge the Lobster factory is Simply the best.

Really disappointed the first time I ever went here when it first opened. It was wonderful. Unfortunately, it really has gone downhill. I got the well BLT lobster roll with barely any lobster in it ! The teenager at the front doesnt have great customer service skills at all was rude over the phone and hung up. Super upsetting especially for the price . Disappointed as i am local all year round and this used to be awesome the owner should really look into how things are being managed at the place because it’s definitely not great anymore
