I thought my chicken madras, pilau reis, aloo ghobi, onion bhaji were all excellent. the wobblebhajis were somewhat overly crispy. we were the only people in there, but the two waitresses were charming and friendly. my only complicity is that they have to shoot the lighting a bit. we felt like in a floodlight! other than that, it was all good
Absolutely love Babba Ji's. Myself and my partner had the absolute pleasure of dining in the elegant restaurant on Friday and were not disappointed! The good was delicious, the staff delightful and such nice Valentine's touches! If you've not eaten with Babba Ji's yet, what are you waiting for??
Ordered takeaway from Babaji’s to give Pakistani food a try. Lamb was very tender in Nalli Nihari and Lahori Karahi was full of flavour. Tried Keema Naan and I was happy I ordered it. Amazing food and quick delivery. Definitely recommend food from Babajis.
This is a great little restaurant in Southend, perfect for a cosy meal out with friends or family. The food was delicious and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Recommend the lamb nihari for a delicious pakistani dish.
We had a delightful meal last evening at Babba Ji. My son and daughter-in-law are quite adventurous eaters, and we decided to try a few specials, including paya and haleem. The staff explained these dishes thoroughly, which made our experience even more enjoyable, and we found them to be delicious with a variety of textures. We opted for a buffet that included sides, appetizers, and breads. Unfortunately, we were too full to sample the dessert menu. The staff provided personal attention and were very friendly. Since I live right across from the restaurant, I picked up a takeaway menu to try more dishes in the future.
