Surprised to see that the Barrista wipe his nose/face with the hand, while hot drinks......Unhygien and repulsive.
Caffè Nero Southwark is located on the south bank of the Thames in London. It has a very good view over the river when sitting outside. As usual for a Cafe Nero, it offers a selection of snacks such as salads, cakes, teas and coffee... The food is available both inside and outside.
Average coffee, very slow service in a quiet time, bad toilets I saw in London have no excuse for it! I like Caffe Nero, but I will avoid this branch.
We visited Café Nero, near the Southwark Cathedral, while we walk between the South Bank Centre and the London Bridge to see the Christmas markets, although I used this sector of Café Nero in the past with some work colleagues. The interior of... the cafe is quite large and has a fantastic view through large windows of the replica of the “Golden Hinde” sailing ship right outside. We decided to enjoy a hot festive coffee inside and watch the world out. The interior carries the brands of the ‘Corporate Image’ chains and has various seating, including comfortable simple chairs or a large table in the middle of the floor with seats surrounding it. The toilets are somewhat limited, consisting of a single unisex club, although when I visited, it had just been cleaned, so no complaints there. I have always found that it is a convenient place for a cup of coffee and meeting with people in this area and will undoubtedly visit again in the future.
Walking along Cathedral Street and temperature outdoors around 8 degrees C. Cafe Nero was a welcome sight, ordered hot chocolate to go. Service was fast and polite, the hot chocolate tasted great and did its job as a warm drink from the cold weather.
