Visited here whilst visiting my brother in London, for breakfast the next morning when we were all hungover! All of us really enjoyed it and great veggie options too. The chai latte and smoothies were excellent
We live locally and have been coming on and off for a few years; it’s usually our favourite place for a well priced breakfast. However more recently it’s not been as good and prices are increasing significantly. Today was terrible, it’s now £3.70 for a coffee and £6.50 for a smoothie, the owner even said prices are going up to £7 a smoothie! The food was also really poor undercooked eggs and halloumi and soggy fritters. No table service either. It’s such a shame as we used to love it here but now won’t be returning.
Staff is not friendly at all, and I feel overcharged, 18£ for eggs Benedict with salmon and small hot chocolate?? I’m not gonna back anymore!!
Our hotel did not serve breakfast, but the host recommended Love Walk Cafe as a nearby alternative. And so we went on a sunny Sunday morning, and chose to sit outside and enjoy the October sunshine. It was already very busy, and I was concerned that it would take ages for our breakfasts to arrive. I needn’t have worried, as our food came after what seemed like only minutes. We had the full English and the Love Walk Cafe omelette, and we were both very pleased with the quality. Very impressed with this cafe, it’s food and it’s very efficient service.
