Micky's Fish And Chips - Southwark

It was good crispy outside tender inside. Traditional taste of London. Tartar sauce and green chutney are good.

On recommendation, we sought this place out and were not disappointed. We had the medium fish and chip meal which came with the mashed peas and a soft drink. We ate everything. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Fun to have the traditional meal and go away happy.

Came across this by accident a few years ago. Still can't believe how good it was. Have visited several time and taken people there, as it is hard to find decent fish and chips in London. It's worth sitting in, though you can do take away too.

I recently got some fish and chips to go from this place and it was fantastic. The fish was delicious and cooked perfectly, and the chips were also very good. I highly recommend this place.

I have had takeaway chips from this establishment several times, on one occasion they asked for three pounds for a single portion but on challenging this , they agreed to accept the advertised price of 1.50! On that occasion, I received potentially good chips but under cooked. Tonight, it was suggested I had proffered a 20cent euro coin instead of a one pound coin. I may have received this in my change earlier on. I paid the pound over. However, the chips were the best I have had from Micky's !
