Soulfood - Southwark

I had the prawn and beef wrap, with spring onion, salad, bbq sauce, mayo and chili sauce for £9. It was a lovely combination, perfect portion and just very tasty.

On the way to work i happend to be passing past the stall and the aromas of the grilling chicken were incredible. I told my colleague and off we went to try it, i had the wrap with steak and chicken chilli sauce, salad and i have to say after 3 years working in the area this is by far the BEST lunch ive had. The chicken was so tender and lovely smokey grilled taste and the steak was melt in the mouth. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the market if they want a filling tasty fresh food for lunch, and to top it off fast friendly service.

I had lunch from SoulFood on March 13, 2017. I arrived around 1 p.m. and joined the relatively long line, which moved quickly past the enticing food options. I had the box lunch of lamb with rice and salad for 8 pounds. Service was friendly, the serving was generous and it was very good. The Borough Market is a fantastic experience not be be missed.

I had the chicken and king prawn combo box for lunch at borough market, it was lovely! Slightly on the pricey side £9, would just go for the chicken if I had it again! Very tasty though and served with plenty of rice and salad!
