Fresh Fields Cafe Deli - Southwick

Kid-friendliness: This is a great place to grab a sandwich. I had the best Reuben ever!!! Very cheap, fantastic service. I would highly recommend this place. ?

When searching gluten free friendly restaurants to meet a friend near the CT/MA line, Fresh Fields Cafe and Deli popped up. I looked at the menu, as I always do before making a decision. They had great coffee TEA options and a nice gluten free wrap option, which I haven’t found while out to eat so I was excited to give it a try. I was very surprised when I pulled up to see this Cafe Deli was in a gas station. There is a designated section with walk up deli and plenty of tables. I ordered the GFree Veggie Betty wrap and a Chi Tea Latte, both were excellent, and the wrap was HUGE! My friend ordered the ‘lite’ BLT sub, they also have a hearty option. I travel a lot, I wish there were more family delis in travel centers!! The food was prepared to order with local fresh ingredients. I did ask the attendant to wipe down our table, which he was happy to take care of quickly. I will definitely be going back.

If they could make wraps like they did 10 years ago, I'd give five stars.

I ordered a chicken crispy grinder from here a while ago and when I opened it there was no chicken. If I wanted a BLT I would have ordered one
