Food was well enjoyed by both my son and I. The pic is of the mesquite chicken wraps which were really good. I was a bit too hungry and didn't take any other pics of his quesadilla or my ribeye :
A local roadside option as you venture through the Adirondacks. Small place with lots of choices. Downside they like their AC, thus be prepared to bring a jacket. Service is friendly but alow with only one server.
Beautiful cozy furnishings right in the speculator. Customer service is excellent and the food is delicious. You also have a fairly decent dining area. The bar is a good size and the prices are very reasonable. Look if you're in the area!
We really loved this place! We were two weeks in a three-week drive from Houston to Vermont and back and almost literally stumbled on this place when we drove through the Adirondacks. It turned out to be one of the best long shots of our entire journey. The service here is young, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The decor is classic and perfect in New York Bar/Restaurant. And the food... the food is really excellent. We have tried various sandwiches and the most amazing buffalo drumsticks. Look at the picture they are full-size drumsticks, but fried, stuffed, and accompanied by blue cheese, such as authentic buffalo wings. I ordered four and we could have given up there they were huge and absolutely delicious. But if you see the pictures of the sandwiches, you will know why we had to stay at dinner. When was the last time you ordered a steak sandwich and they asked you how you wanted to cook it? In a bar and a barbecue? For less than $10? And it was excellent? Even the Pommes were perfect. We could go on... Lower line, this is a surprising and really excellent restaurant that hides behind the facade of a modest street grill. There is real talent here in the kitchen and it shows on every plate. If we lived somewhere near this place, we would be regular.
The staff was friendly, the food took a while, but was good. We will return and enjoy some of the apple cross in the future
