The Three Blacksmiths was a wonderfully unexpected gem! Located far away from the city's hustle and bustle—so much so that there are no streetlights in the town—it offers a serene escape. The ambiance at 3B is warm and welcoming, featuring an open dining area that strikes a perfect balance between cozy and spacious. The small team of chefs and servers worked seamlessly throughout our meal, with the Chef and owner personally visiting each table to ensure everyone was enjoying their experience. The food was delightful, with some pleasant surprises along the way. As with any tasting menu, be prepared to spend hours relishing each dish. We left with full bellies and smiles, already looking forward to our next visit.
This was the best meal I’ve ever had in my life, and I’ve had a pretty lucky life. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Join their waitlist now! This was the BEST DINING EXPERIENCE OF OUR LIVES, even better than both the Inn at Little Washington and Joel Robuchon restaurants in New York and Paris! The wonderful Addeo couple, who run the place, make you feel like a cherished guest in their home. The atmosphere is intimate, warm, and inviting, featuring unique details like a blacksmith-themed anvil with your name on it at the table. The staff is perfectly attentive and knowledgeable without being overbearing. The food is nearly indescribable; every bite feels like a celebration in your mouth. The bread is served on hot stones to keep it warm, and watching the chefs work their magic in the kitchen is captivating. The wine pairings were flawless, accompanied by detailed descriptions of the taste profiles and origins of the unique selections. A huge thank you to Sara, Jake, and their team for creating an extraordinarily memorable evening that we will never forget. We can't wait to come back!
Such a quaint place in a very lovely town. Loved the ambiance and service. Food was really good. Some dishes were more innovative than others. We paid about $300s each for food and wine pairing and tax and gratuity. One seating only per night. Only one downside, omg it went on for 4+ hrs. I would like it more if I didn’t have to drive 1.5 hrs back to Dc Food: 5
