La Regia - Spring

We have had this joint several times. Breakfast tacos are good but the last three times we’ve come here the tacos are never what we order. The order has been wrong every single time these last few times. Which is frustrating bc we pay more for the tacos we order. It just happened again and I can’t say we will back again. It’s unfortunate. We live too far to make it a drive back just to attempt to get it exchanged.

Great Mexican food! I love their tacos. Homemade flour tortillas and generous portions. I especially like their barbacoa tacos. All of the tacos have a bit of beans in them that's the way to make real Mexican tacos! They anchor the rest of the fillings in your tacos!

Since it was my first time in Southern Texas, I wanted to try some quality street-style tacos, and La Regia has to be one of the best. Everything I had was homemade, fresh, and authentic. These tacos may have been the best I've ever had. I also tried Menudo for the first time here, and it was delicious. Although it might not be everyone's cup of tea, it was a tasty soup that's great for a cooler winter day.
