Really enjoyed our meal here. Lovely family restaurant run by a Mexican- Salvadorean husband and wife team. Very warm, friendly and unpretentious service. Good flavours and heads and shoulders above the Tex-Mex fare that passes for Mexican in most Aussie establishments. Thank you!
While on a reviewing streak, I stumbled upon this hidden gem that I thought was closed, only to discover that it had simply relocated. What a relief! I used to live near their old location and always enjoyed their authentic Mexican dishes and incredibly friendly service. Upon arrival, you are greeted with a warm smile and a complimentary bowl of crispy tortilla chips with salsa. I have sampled a variety of items on their menu, and everything is delectable! I would not recommend getting takeout due to the loss of crunchiness and mixing of hot and cold elements. Instead, take a break from the hustle and bustle and savor this family-owned taste of culture. I personally loved the nachos, my partner couldn't get enough of the fajitas, and I found the mole dish to be strangely fascinating. I have heard they updated their dessert menu recently, but I always find the mains to be so satisfyingly good. The next time I am in the area, I will definitely be paying them a visit again.
Now moved to Milton Road in Auchenflower. Difficult place for parking. Service was very good and the meals came out promptly. The food was delicious, but, the Nachos (entrée) was only warm. The servings were good and the prices reasonable. Well worth a visit if you like authentic taste of Mexico, not like the so called 'Mexican ' chain restaurants.
Visited this place by chance as I was actually intending to pick up a couple of groceries next door. It is not about to win any awards for style, but the staff were friendly and my chilli con carne was delicious! It seems great for a casual meal here and there but probably not a first date destination.
