That said, getting in within a reasonable amount of time, getting your pizza in a reasonable amount of time, or even ordering carry out without a two+ hour wait/lead time makes it tough to recommend. The restaurant is small and was very hot. It was also quite loud, I suppose due to the hard floors and being a pretty open space. It was comfortable, but would have been difficult to maintain a conversation with a group. I 've now tried calling in a carry out order three times. The last two times I called right as they opened (4 PM) and asked to place an order for carry out two hours later. I was told I couldn 't order that far ahead and would need to just call 30 minutes before I needed the pizzas. I told the person I was talking to that the last time I called (my first carry out attempt), I called at 5:30 PM and was told the next pick up slot was at 7 PM. The person said yeah, but the chef says to just call 30 minutes ahead of when I need to pick up. So I called at 5:30 PM and asked to place an order for pickup at 6 PM and was told, Sorry, our next pick up slot isn 't until 7:30-7:45 PM. It was the same person I spoke with when I called at 4 PM. I said, Oh well that 's weird because when I spoke to you earlier and tried to order for pickup at 6 PM, you said I couldn 't but that all I would need to do is call back 30 minutes ahead of time. They responded with, Oh hey! Yeah, I mean, we do have a limited number of ovens, sir, and there 's only so much we can do. So, just be prepared and I 'd recommend either ordering right as they open and then just reheating it later, eating an early pizza dinner, or finding another pizza spot. There are several other fantastic options in NWA.
I visit the Northwest Arkansas area a few times a year and finding quality food is something I strive for every trip. Before Pizzeria Ruby, finding a good old school pie was not so easy. Needless to say I am thrilled to have found this place. On my most recent trip I came here directly from the plane with my daughter and my mom. We shared a pizza, meatballs, salad, and wine and it was outstanding! It immediately brought those comfort food feelings to my mouth and stomach. You could taste the high quality ingredients they use. And beyond flavor, the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy each others company and being at work. It was nice to see everyone getting along and having fun. We arrived right as they opened, along with 3 other parties. I can tell this is a locals joint that people expect to get busy. They were completely full with a wait within 30 minutes of opening. That tells you everything in my opinion. Even though I try to seek out new restaurants on my visits, I'll be returning to this classic but upscale, locals vibe pizza joint every trip I take, and I am already looking forward to it.
This pizza is the best pizza in Arkansas. The crust is crispy. I have had a few of the specialty pizzas and you can't really go wrong. My spicy Italian boyfriend or the truffle pig pizzas are delicious. Chopped salad is a must have.
Great food. Pleasant service. Chill yet fun atmosphere. Best spaghetti I've ever had at a restaurant.
What a great place! Love the Boston themed menu. Service was friendly and helpful. The Burrata appetizer and house salad with Gorgonzola were both excellent. Loved the chunky marinara sauce. Didn't have a pie this time as I was counting carbs but definitely will try them! The loaves of bread looked rustic and incredible.
