It is a scandal that chef wayne’s big mamou has closed. Luckily, what took its place is another amazing family-run restaurant. liberty's medium sea is exactly what they want from a restaurant experience; unique kitchen that is both delicious and affordable. a must in the opposite! the personal: in the rule I check out eating first, but how can they ignore such amazing, friendly and friendly staff? the kitchen is filled with the family that owns this business. everyone is happy to chat with them and serve them with a smile. we need more family-run companies and fewer companies/chains. the food: I was skeptical when I saw the menu, from grinders, salates, gyros, falafels, philly steak n cheese, chicken wings and lasagne. everything we tried was delicious! the gyro was full of taste and meat, the gyro over rice was on a bed of fluffy amazing rice. falafels were super crispy outside and delicate/moist inside. Jo-jo kartoffeln were salted to perfection, were crispy and had an unusual but amazing citrus taste, maybe a squeece of lemon / lime? the drinks: there are two cooler with different limettes and water. individual portions and 2 liter bottles. they get complementary coffee and minze tee, both great. Hey, free drinks are good in my book. atmosphere: the escap is small, maybe it can fit about 20 people. it looks as if the majority of people commissioned taking, as there is a steady but constant stream of people who come to pick up their commands. there are timelines to read while they dinate and play a few board games. the walls are covered with interesting paintings, artworks and signs. cost is amazing: 12 pieces Jo-Jo kartoffeln, 4 falafels, huhn gyro, gyro over rice, and 2l diet koks costs us just $36! that are just $15-20 per person! in comparison to villa napoletana in east longmeadow, where one entree costs it $30-45, this place is a steal! overall: definitiw a neat jewel at the quieter edge of jumpfield’s downtown. If I ever take the train, they think better that I will eat in the middle sea of liberty. my only regret about this place is that I didn't find it earlier! Maybe after her meal on the white lion brewing company on the street for some beer?
The family that owns the business is so kind and welcoming! They check in at just the right times, they asked all the clarifying questions to make sure our order was right to the Tee, and the vibe was just so warm and cozy.Customer service was above excellent and the food was absolutely, crazy, delicious! You can taste every ingredient and the food is made to order. The place is super clean and menu was simple enough. 10/10 would recommend to everyone!
One of the best Philly Cheese Steaks and chicken gyro I’ve ever had. The authentic Mediterranean food such as the upside down rice with lamb was a highlight not to be missed in this underrated spot in Springfield right along i91. Super friendly and accommodating family run staff. I kept saying it should be in the Michelin Guide it was really that good! Will surely be returning and telling others to as well.
My taste buds were not even a little bit ready for the deliciously flavored chicken thigh I had at Liberty’s Mediterranean today. Just happened upon the place and one of the owners led me over to this enticing looking tray of chicken. I had a piece and was blown away! Soooooooo good and the staff is wonderfully warm and friendly and lovely bright decor. Highly recommend!
