Our group is from out of town. Went 2 nights in a row because the food and service was so good. They took care of us with Outstanding service. Please stop by and try it out. Will be back once we aew back in town.
The reataurant has cool decor, the wait staff is all very pleasant. The fried oysters were great i loved the lamb and dessert was my absolute favorite.
Generally speaking, expectations of fine dinning in the SPI area should be discreetly managed, due to the limited options available in this market. This restaurant was supposed to be one of a handful of outliers, at least on paper.In practice, the experience was average at best. You can tell the quality of the ingredients is there, but the preparations are akin to something one could cook at home with the help of a good Italian recipes book.I had the spicy seafood spaghetti and the pasta was definitely on the overcooked side. My wife had the lamb lollipops and she said it was just OK. Not what you would expect for a nearly $50 dish.Finally, they took the liberty to add an extra $5 to my original tip. This kind of dealings should forewarn future dinners of the kind of place they are about to walk into. We are 100% confident this was both a first and a last.
