The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious! It tasted just like a homemade meal. The portions were generous but a bit on the pricey side. I was tempted to try their buffet after my meal.
This evening feeding tandoori gourmet before tandoori grill was the best we have experienced in a long time. we had veggie pakora, aloo golhi, butter huhn navaratan veg korma, two types of naan, rice and raita. all done mild heat .eders was exceptional. that was a way out, as we did before. we have been on this site for over 3 years, both for the table service and for the exit and will certainly be back. many thanks to tandoori gourmet for a wonderful meal.
This restaurant visited for the first time tonight and we were very happy with our visit. the waitress jessica was very friendly and helpful. the food was fantastic! I don't eat Indians often, but we will definitely be back to this place. We ordered the honeyries and they were soou good! I ordered a mango leti as a drink and also fantastic. in all we have ordered malai kofta, garlic and stuffed naan, huhn makai tikka I think I have the right) and the hafta nudeln. all were great! a free dessert received, that was pistachios-based and Sooooooooo-Yummy! that was a really nice gesture. definitely recommend this restaurant. many thanks for a great meal!
On September 16th, 2021 we arrived At Tandoori Grill Spruce Grove Alberta for our lunch at 11:35 am. They advertise their lunch buffet so we decided to have that, We were seated, ordered water , the host said I will get you gloves( to handle...the buffet spoons) . He never came back and then answers the phone and spends forever on the phones. At about the 10 minute mark , I got fed up and went and found the box of Gloves at the front Till, we proceeded to the buffet. Almost all the chafe dishes were empty or picked over there was only a few scraps. , There was lots of rice so we loaded up on that and dump the sauces from the near empty pans over them. (Expecting the chafe dishes would be refilled soon since it was lunch time) There was no curry beef, no butter chicken, no vegetable Korma there was only two pieces of tandoori chicken left, Look so terrible I did not take one, my lunch partner did and said it was cold and not good. All the sauces in the chafe dishes were room temperature or just plain cold. The server (Owner/Host/Manager) finally brought our long awaited waters, and then asked if we would like our pan bread(too late to be asking us now) We expected that more hot food was coming out, I had brought this up to the server a couple of times , each time he said it was coming but it never did other than more rice(go figure). There was only two other persons there( no more patrons came while were there) and since we were sitting back to back to them we could here there dissatisfaction too. At the 48 minute mark we had to get up to get back to our jobs. Just then they brought out a little(could fit in my two hands) of curry beef, Pathetic business practice and service. We both love Indian food but will not be back, too bad as we don’t have any Indian food choices in the area(we live here) . When standing at the till paying I expressed our dissatisfaction and the fellow , whom just look at me and said $41.90 . No caring at all. I suspect that the place has changed hands or ? It could be there were concentrating on filling take out orders /delivery orders so much that they could not do a good job for their eat in customers or all the above. I had had a direct line of sight to the kitchen serve thru window, and could see the cook(only one cook on) filling takeout Styrofoam take out container the full time we were there.
