Dairy Queen Grill Chill - St. Albert

I received a burger with undercooked bacon on May 18th at 6:30 PM. This will be my final visit.

We visited this restaurant on New Year’s Eve and were warmly welcomed by a friendly staff who went above and beyond to accommodate our group of six. John came over to check on us and even offered our niece the chance to make her own ice cream cone. We highly recommend this place!

I bought two Blizzards as part of the buy one, get one for $1 deal. However, I had a screaming baby with me and didn't pay close attention to the prices, trusting the staff to charge correctly. Unfortunately, I was charged full price for both Blizzards, and mine was quite watery as well. We often visit Dairy Queen for Blizzards, but after this experience, I won’t be returning.

The experience was as anticipated. The food met my expectations. Initially, I thought the staff member seemed disinterested, but I was impressed by her ability to juggle multiple tasks at once, especially for someone so young. The ice cream was served quickly, but we had to wait a bit longer for the burger, which caused the onion rings to sit under the heat lamp. It might be a good idea to place the heat lamps where customers can't see them. Overall, both the onion rings and the burger were satisfactory.

The owner, John (who goes by Larry), and his team offered excellent and friendly service. He even allowed my daughter to make her own dipped cone. We will definitely be returning.
