We started with the Nando nuts. I got 1/4 chicken with one side, my husband got a chicken sandwich with one side. We both drank water. Our bill was just shy of $30. I'm not saying this place is expensive, but I thought the value could have been a tad better. <br/ <br/ Service was friendly. Food arrived at our table quickly. Would definitely try going back. Maybe next time I'll get a wrap with no sides or appies.
Two of us went there on a spur of the moment lunch. I had the 1/4 chicken with grilled veggies and my friend had a 1/4 chicken with fries. You get exactly what you order, nothing less, nothing more. You can add sides, something I don't like, add on charges are anathema to me. I believe that you should be able to order a meal and get a meal, not guess if you need another side or two and I feel this sets people up to pay more than they intended. I also hate up charges for extra sauce or sour cream etc. I don't understand that model for a business. One of their patrons was sitting at a table alone and seemed to have ordered EVERY side. Luckily, Nando's provides all of their condiments free with your meal and there is a good selection. Score! The chicken was good, juicy, tender and well flavoured from my sauce choice. The veggies were surprisingly good! I was expecting limp flavourless blobs but I enjoyed them very much. My friend also enjoyed the chicken and the fries met expectations. I would definitely return, even if you will hear me grumbling about the extra charge for sides.
Newly booming Brewery District is starting to get cooler and trendier by the minute. It’s been a bit since stopping by Nando’s since they first opened up on the southside of town. And what better to eat after a grocery shopping trip than roasted chicken you don’t have to cook yourself? <br/ <br/ Arriving for late lunch, it was super slow so employees were kind of just grouped by the counter chit chatting. Still got to us immediately and they were attentive! So no complaints about service. Similar service level as all their other locations. Fast Casual, they’ll seat you at a table and leave you with a menu, you’ll go up to the counter to order and pay, then you’ll work through the drink and condiment station and the food will arrive to your table. The space feels bigger than the one on the southside with more of a colorful color scheme going on here than I remember at the other location. Really like how open and bright it is here. <br/ <br/ Not straying far from what I remember liking on my first visit. <br/ <br/ ¼ Medium spice with a nando sized peri peri fries $12.95) ⅘ Just as juicy and flavorful as the first time I tried it. Fries were amazing as usual. Except seasoning wasn’t as evenly distributed. <br/ <br/ ¼ Lemon herb spiced with 1 spiced rice and 1 garlic mashed potatoes ⅘ Bae couldn’t handle spice so settling for the lemon herb which was surprisingly really flavorful still. Tasted more of the herb with an aftertaste of the lemon, Not bad. I raved over how in love with the rice I was last visit, sadly this time this side ran short. Really dry to sum it up. The garlic mashed potatoes was the winner for this luncheon. <br/ <br/ Discovered a new favorite side and we left full and happy. Recommend if you’re in the area and wanting some protein that isn’t too much of a cheat.
Absolutely the best. Chicken was very tender and juicy. The fries were top notch too.
Healthy, high quality food. Yet I think it's too salty for me.
