Wetzel's Pretzels - St. Andrew's Parish

Finally got a chance to try this Wetzel’s Pretzels out since being in Edmonton. A huge fan of this franchise since visiting LA few years back so was very happy to see it here in Edmonton (thought they were only in the states! I actually drove from Toronto to Michigan just to get Wetzel’s from a mall over there because it was the closest location to me and I was super craving it at the time! That goes to tell you how much I love Wetzel’s! Brought my friends over to try it because they only heard good things and finally decided to give Wetzel’s Pretzels a try. We all got my personal favourite the cheddar Jalapeño with the cheese dipping sauce. My only request which was gladly fulfilled by the friendly and welcoming workers there, was I wanted a fresh pretzel made from scratch. (It’s what makes the Cheddar jalapeño one taste so good, you need to try it fresh out the oven! They understood and respected my dilemma and Leah the worker there got to making our order fresh from the oven! Special thanks to her and amazing work from the team over there at the west Edmonton Mall location. Surprised that they have such mixed reviews on here. Makes no sense to me?

I got the pizza pretzel bites and the regular pretzel bites. Delicious and fresh! I'm bias as I love pretzels but these were hot and fresh, staff was friendly and even with longer lines it went quickly :

Great pretzels! Always a long lineup! It pays to add the cinnamon sugar on your pretzel!

I think there is a new guy at the location by the ice rink and he makes the biggest, fluffiest best tasting pretzels! He has red hair and he’s the best! My friend and I were raving about our pretzels yesterday!

Our pretzels were fresh and tasty. We found the strawberry lemonade to be too sweet but thankfully Alyssa watered it down for us which made it much better. Great staff and quick fast spot for a snack.
