Meada's Garden - St. John

Resturant is closed but still accepting reservations. Makes no sense Went and looks like restaurants been closed for a while. Do not book

Restraurant permanently closed.. why was I able to make a reservation? Showed up EXTREMELY disappointed

This review is NOT indicative of the meal we actually had there in 2021. That meal was great and we loved everything about it. This review is for August 2022- both Google and OpenTable said that the restaurant was open. We were able to make a reservation on OpenTable. When we arrived for dinner we realized it was not open. We tried calling and finally asked someone at the bar next door. They said it was (and had been) closed for reservations. We ended up scrambling for a seat somewhere for dinner. Please update this restaurant to accurately reflect that it is NOT currently open!

Despite OpenTable twice confirming this reservation, when we arrived, it was closed. We were told they haven’t been open for weeks. Don’t waste your time. Go somewhere else

Unfortunately I cannot say anything as Open Table allowed me to book a night at this restaurant while vacationing with my family at St. John. My wife and I made a reservation for a date night just the two of us without the kids and when we showed the restaurant was closed! We checked their webpage and Facebook page and there was nothing posted about being closed. In fact, it remained closed the rest of our time on island. How does Meada's Garden not post their closing on their webpages and block reservations from occurring on open Table??? Poor customer service and social media management. Reservations are almost a MUST while on St. John. Luckily my wife and I were able to get lucky and were seated at another restaurant saving our date night. We will not be visiting Meada's anytime soon.
