Black Sea

This restaurant sells gift cards that they refuse to honor. They are deceiving the public. When we informed the wait staff that we had a gift card, they refused to honor its value. The atmosphere was negative and the owner was unresponsive when we contacted him. This restaurant should be shut down.

A colleague and I decided to try out this restaurant tonight and were pleasantly surprised. The place has new owners since March and it is clean with a dark-themed decor. The menu has a middle eastern influence. I started with a delicious soup with lamb, and had the special haddock for my main course. Unfortunately, the fish was a little overcooked, but overall the food experience was good. I would recommend this restaurant and plan to visit again due to its unique menu. Can't wait for the next visit!

The service was fantastic! I can't wait to come back. I've tried almost every restaurant in downtown St. John's, and this one is definitely one of the best. The food was great, the wine list was fantastic, and the service was amazing.

Been here a few times for both lunch and evening meals. Service is always fantastic and the food is even better. Lamb tagline melts in the mouth and Salmon with Israeli couscous is fantastic.
