Their food is delicious, very reasonably priced, and their restaurant atmosphere makes you feel like your having a truly home cooked traditional Afghan dinner. I brought a group of 17 students and teachers here as a surprise and it was an easy win for all of us. So glad this kind of food is available in St. John’s. Sick of codfish? Come to this place!
Cozy, cute, welcoming and very tasty! The lovely couple, who I believe own this place, serving me were polite and prompt. They welcomed me in and served such delicious authentic Afghan food! I absolutely love how much the way they have set this small space up! Their veggie samosas were so crisp, came with a delicious dip sauce and hit the spot! The veggie dish I ordered was packed with flavour and spices! I've had Afghan food before but this place is legit! What a lovely tucked away gem for St. John's! If you have never had Afghan food, make this the first place you go! Thank you for your kind hospitality and amazing food!
Ate here a couple of times while visiting St. John's and had their lamb kebab and non vegetarian mixed platter. Both times the food was ready soon, affordably priced, tasty and had generous serving sizes. Would definitely eat here again.
The flavour in the food is amazing. The owners are very friendly and you can tell they know how to cook. Give them your business and you will not regret it. I'll be back for sure!
I ordered the mixed kebabs. You should come with two nuts and vegetables. There were no vegetables (only a few pieces of shredded salad) and the Naane were not Naane, but two very oily and chewing tortillas. Not recommended.
