Breakfast is always perfect. Love this quiet place.
To this day I was a regular. All employees knew how many times I went. Today the place was a mess. We sat at a clean stand (other tables had not been cleaned). At first, I had to pick up my shirt that was transferred from the table and wipe the table to remove further rubber because the server was missing. Next we go to the order. Before ordering, I tell her I had to remove rubber from my shirt that was transferred from the table. I'm hardly sorry. There was no offer to wipe the table. We ordered bread sticks and breakfast for dinner (as we always do. We served breadsticks together with our meal. For me, it defeats the point of an appetizer. Next food. My job was simple. Bacon. Disturbed. White. I have burned bacon, boiled and dried haash browns. Eggs were fine. I managed to eat the eggs and a piece and a half of the least burned bacon before it stops. The waitress never came once to ask how we did it, or I would have brought it to her attention. To hell, she wasn't even in remote vision during the meal. When she came back and asked if we wanted the bill, I pointed out that I had eaten the eggs and that the hashbrowns and bacon were boiled over and I did not eat them. The waitress was saucy. It's almost like they forgot how tips work. Waitress: If you had told me before you had eaten so much, I would have done another. If you had come to our meal, I would have. As you can see, I ate the eggs and a piece and a half (provided by the four slices of the bacon (as much as I could tolerate as it was rough. Friend: We take the bill. The waitress returns with the bill, puts it on the table and goes away. No, thanks. The bill was full of price. I: no discount for the meal? Waitress: You have to talk to the manager. I want to talk to the manager. Waitress returns with 30% from my meal. I still want to talk to the manager. The waitress goes away. Manager returns are so useless. After explaining the rubber on the table, the cooked food and the lack of apology twice, because he missed my long diatribe for the first time, I got the shortest apology at all and an offer for 50% of my meal. At this point we had already paid. There was no offer for a refund for the difference. I explained that I am regularly at the point where the personnel know my order. I made it clear that they never get a cent of me again. And here I am. Save your money, go somewhere where you actually get some decent customer service (and some appropriately cooked food). If you can't get bacon and potatoes properly, you're not a properly functioning restaurant.
I've been here for years....the last two years I've seen how the service just goes downhill, it's sad because the food is usually great and I like the atmosphere and the local music they have, but I said if I went last week, it would... spend my last time 1$ there, as I have given much too many chances on this place.
