East Side Mario's Holiday Inn St. John's

It was a good meal with an outstanding server, the food was lovely and our waitress was attentive without being over bearing! It was rather loud but that’s to be expected of a family restaurant, overall a very good experience!

We arrived and it took 50 mins for them to take our order, then kids meals came out and took over a 1/2 hr for the adult meals to come out. Kids where finished and wanted to leave. We where suppose to get all you could eat soup/salad and bread . The brought out some but never came back to see if we wanted more. Meals came out incorrectly and my husband wanted to get a drink but no one came to check on the table. When we asked if they where short staffed the server said they weren’t…. Not a great experience.

We were seated in the bar area which I was not my preference. The dish I ordered was way too spicy for me (not EM 's fault! but I took most of it to my son who happens to really like that dish. The warm brownie with ice cream and caramel sauce was not warm and hard to cut through with a fork either because it was too cold or too dry. Overall it was okay but was not a restaurant I would rush back to experience.
