Lucky House - St. John's

My wife and I tried lucky house for the first time today. We loved it absolutely! The food was fresh and tasteful and inexpensive. The staff was friendly. We have takeout, but the restaurant itself is cozy. A great option for Chinese food in downtown and St. John's in general. We are happy customers who will definitely return soon!

Amazing customer service! I ordered dinner for a friend who was caught in a St. John's hotel because of a positive COVID case. I wanted to send her a warm meal with soup. I am several provinces away, so used Skip the Dishes (Big Mistake!!! The ride never bothered to pick up the order, and it was there cold in the restaurant. The restaurant called me in Ontario to let me know that the food had waited for pick-up, and if Skip would not do anything to fix the problem, about refunding the money on my credit card (also could take up to 10 days, the restaurant sent the food to the hotel with its own delivery person. It might not be as hot as planned, but this is Skip the Dishes' error. I'm sure it was better than to mug cereals and a soup that was the alternative of my friend. Thank you house for the care of people!

A friend recommended Lucky House when I was looking for Chinese food for a family dinner. I went to order Takeout and received friendly and helpful service. Portions are generous and all the dishes we ordered were delicious. Favorite was the Lucky House roasted rice and beef and broccoli. None of the dishes were salty, which was a pleasant surprise.

Previously, Banboo Garden Restaurant was called, resolving my memories by today's sad news. Wish the new business is going well in this place.

Freshly made, tasty, good wonton broth. Would recommend without hesitations.
